We believe that, as Harbour Church, our purpose is to serve our city and show the people of Portsmouth how much they are loved. There are lots of ministries doing this in different and incredible ways, and they are all part of our For the City department.
Spa 61 aims to bring love, hope and dignity to the women of Portsmouth. We do this through our pamper mornings, where every woman is offered beauty treatments, brunch, and a warm welcome from our brilliant team.
Our Prison Ministry seeks to show men and women in prison that they are loved, that they can have hope, and that there is freedom in Jesus. We run church services in our local prison, as well as a weekly Alpha course, and we have an incredible team of befrienders who build relationships with those who are released into Portsmouth.
Safe Harbour is our ministry to the homeless in Portsmouth. The homeless men and women that we meet are treated with dignity and love, as the team build meaningful relationships and authentic connections with the community.
CAP (Christians Against Poverty) has a vision to see everyone in Portsmouth set free from debt and poverty. Many families in our city are living with unmanageable debt, but through our Debt Centre and its partnership with highly-trained debt counsellors, we believe that we can see this turned around, and see our city living in financial freedom.
Our Foodbank - part of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks in Portsmouth - exists to serve the people of Portsea. We offer a warm welcome to anyone who visits, and provide a food allowance to anyone in our community that needs it.
